The Vision
River City Indoor Soccer Club opened its doors in June of 1991 after being incorporated as River City Sports Center Inc., in 1990.  The main objective was to offer adults and youth a new indoor facility to play soccer in the area.

The Future

River City Indoor Soccer Club has now become River City Sports Arena.  Starting in April of 2009, River City has decided to open its doors to the growing games of Lacrosse and Field Hockey, while continuing our nightly Soccer championship leagues and our highly competitive winter Soccer sessions; we intend to be capable of helping the growth of other sports wherever possible.  With the addition of highly competitive Lacrosse and Field Hockey leagues, River City Sports Arena will be the answer for all competitive needs! 

The Company

River City Sports Center Inc. was a privately owned and operated company, and has been since its inception in June of 1991. 

Air conditioning was added in 1992. The indoor field was replaced in 2002 along with 6' glass walls on the spectator side of the field. 

Soccer Premier Pro Shop opened its doors inside River City in 2000.  The pro shop was enlarged another 25' in 2003 and River City added a balcony for additional spectator space and viewing.

As of April 2009, River City Sports Arena LLC, also a privately owned and operated by the HOWE family, will look forward to continuing the strong traditions that have been made a standard here for almost 18 years!
